Welcome to the Charcoal Chapter.

In an effort to create meaningful art, we at Àrsa look to the past for inspiration. Our artwork is rooted in the old and forgotten, be it an art form, culture, or philosophy. This series is inspired by the most ancient art form known to man- Charcoal.
Charcoal art dates back to 40,000 years when man drew some of the first cave paintings using natural pigments and charcoal. As the oldest muse, the female form seemed to be the most befitting central element to celebrate the oldest art form. The Charcoal chapter is our homage to the first-ever artists; where others saw charcoal as a means to an end, they saw in it, raw unadulterated beauty!
